I am absolutely convinced that FB listens into conversations (just like Amazon, Google, et al) because I received a pretty specific message last week from Zuckerberg and his gigantic bowl of maggot fact checkers. Now do I think they listen to everything? No. But the solid assumption is that Big Tech has a list of words and phrases in their algorithms that will trigger such responses. In my case, I am sure that something I said launched this response directly from some fat fuck sitting in a basement in Menlo Park or Bangalore. I showed the message to DS, and his comment was "The government trains people in how to message to win hearts and minds. This is *not* how it is done."
