I was diagnosed with Covid for the second time today after having the first time last year in August. My doctor prescribed Hydroxychloriquine, which is great, because I actually was already taking it since Sunday. my throat has been very swollen, sore and my larynx felt swollen, and I had been wheezing. I’ve had this appointment today for 6 Months before this and actually went in to get my bi-annual Prolia shot. She wouldn’t give me the shot today because of Covid. Weird thing is, she prescribed 8 pills in regular reduction of Prednisone. My oxygen saturation was 96-99% at her office. She also prescribed 8 days of albuterol to use in a nebulizer. My question is, why in the Sam Hill did she prescribe Prednisone with such a high sat rate? She said she could hear me wheezing from across the room. Fact is, she knows my vocal cords were paralyzed back 5 years ago because she sent me to a surgery that took,4 hours, looking for parathyroids and knocked my vocal nerve offline. I had to have fillers in vocal cords to allow me to talk again and have had a smallish wheeze every day since. The doctor claims it was my lungs wheezing, but didn’t ask to have lungs x rayed. And also, I just last week started a small radiation treatment for basal cell on my nose. With a Xoft machine that actually just goes down centimeter to target the cancer and not harm anything else. I’ve had 1 of 10 treatments and this happened. Probably picked up COVID in the hospital the treatments are. I’m caught between a feeling God is telling me something or my doctor is nuts. She wagged her finger about how bad radiation is and feels good about prescribing Prolia and Prednisone. Need opinions please. I know there are no doctors here. Thanks! I have no knowledge. All I can offer is to share your frustration and hopes and pray for good resolutions for any and all issues. Now seems to be the worst time (in our history) to need medical assistance, whether it's us or our pets. I don't trust much of anybody anymore, but a few I can count on my fingers with a couple fingers left over. Especially with Medicare doctors, because they are just followers, not thinkers. They just look up stuff on the internet after I bring it up and they say I am wrong, that medication is dangerous. Then a year later they are prescribing it to me for what I asked for the previous year (Covid HCQ). I just don’t trust them. I have a nicotine patch on. And I am feeling better this am. I have no knowledge to share with you either. But I don't trust the docs any longer because of a lot of reasons. They have lied to us over and over. And most of them don't seem to know their ass from a hole in the ground. You will need to research and pray and come to a decision for yourself. Praying for you to get out of this crappy situation very soon and feel better NOW. | ||||

Thanks Sunny. I know the doctors are dumb as a box of rocks at most practices and hospitals. And the internet has been so scrubbed of true cures that it’s insane. They are afraid to let us have knowledge that will interfere with their ability to rob us until we die. That make research a little off putting as well. All the Medicare doctors here come from China, India, Vietnam, Mexico or Nigeria. And I am referring to their names and pictures, which are easily discernible where they originated. Mine is from Vietnam.  I guess we will have to dig deeper and hope the Harris Administration doesn’t redesign the search engines to scrap all alternatives in health care. TV, I'm not a doctor. Can you contact a naturopath or holistic practitioner for a consultation, maybe free of charge? I'm not a fan of pharma drugs as I think the process is to make you sicker to make more money. Your doctors don't care what drugs you're on, or the doses or contraindications. They're happy to make money by putting you on another drug to fix that problem. I offer prayers for your journey to find healing for your body. | |||
