I am back temporarily. I had to log in because we are facing conflict here in CONUS from foreign powers. War is coming to the continental United States. The latest I'm hearing is that the whole thing was just a gigantic fuck up by the Border Patrol, that the Army had turned over to them an anti-drone laser weapon that they then used without proper protocols being followed.
Personally, I'm not putting much stock in that version of events.
You don't scramble B-52's and multiple refueling aircraft because of a Border Patrol fuck up.
This may be one of those things that we NEVER find out what the truth is.
