That's one of those things that, trying to judge whether it had much effect or not, is sort of a maybe/maybe not thing. Just a personal observation: I'm quite an above average rifle shooter, where dead nuts accuracy is concerned. I don't necessarily shoot regularly - sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. No real plan to it. That said, if I had to pick up a rifle and make a 150-200 yard shot, with any of a number of my rifles that I know were sighted-in for a given distance with a given load the last time I shot them (even if it was ten years ago), I'd be within 1 MOA of point-of-aim on the first 3 shots. I don't know if he had practiced recently or not, but another factor to consider from my personal POV - he's 22 years old and presumably pretty familiar with guns. Like I said, I'm quite above average with a rifle, and I'm 57 y.o. When I was in my 20s, I was *SCARY* good with a rifle, even though not nearly as experienced as I am now. Just an example: You remember those old 16 oz. soda bottles with the thin foam wrapper the way they were back in the 80s and early 90s? I could bust those regularly, say 7 out of 8 shots, with my M-1 with iron sights, offhand unsupported at 200 yards. Back then I could see a lot better and was steady as a rock in a vacuum. So..... he could have had range time or not. He already could have had confidence in the ammo and his setup in his possession. He could have already known his rifle could shoot 1.5 MOA (or less) which would have translated into a 3 inch group at 200 yards. Or he could have gone out to Sportsman's warehouse and and bought a fresh batch of ammo--and re-zeroed a disused rifle he had in his closet in the days beforehand. I think this is the case, because he probably had his fur-butt-buddy there with him and others of their ilk. Hence the foreknowledge chatter on the internet. I think he had an ex-fil fag waiting in a car to drive him back down south on I-15, while he was hunched down the back seat or trunk. Furthermore--since Tyler obviously knew gun-stuff. I think he was selected by his trans-friends to do the job. It was a group effort. Small group--with not the greatest OPSEC. To know these queers, is to know what pussies they really are and not being able to use a screw driver let alone a rifle. And on top of this, Tyler seems to be the kind who is easily manipulated.
