How do you figure? Iran's closest allies don't like them and aren't going to take any risks for them. Even if they somehow coughed up a surprise nuke and Israel responded in kind, we are still talking about less bang than we unleashed on ourselves in Nevada for 50 years. Theory: Generated earthquakes are 6.2mi/10km deep.
Example:

The Christchurch quake on 2/22/2011 (M6.2/depth 3.1mi/5km) was an aftershock of the Canterbury earthquake on 9/4/2010 (M7.1/depth 6.2mi/10km).

There are theories that the Christchurch quake was generated, but I doubt it. If anything, it was the Canterbury quake that was generated, with the Christchurch quake being an aftershock.

Current claims are floating that the Iran quake (depth 6.2mi) was generated, with Iran targeted. Do I consider that to be the case? Noooooo. How would I know?

There was one such survey ongoing around a certain area in Nevada (IYKYK) a few years ago. A nugget offered by one of the geologists (not a question answered, but a claim offered as fact) was that a 6.2mi depth of an earthquake signifies a generated quake. That was interesting.

I've been observing/logging quakes since 1999. The increasing number of 6.2mi depth quakes became notable in the early 2000s. From then, until now, the 6.2mi depths have increased exponentially, along with the worldwide number of large quakes.

My innate gift (or curse?) of pattern recognition implies that there will be more quakes of significant magnitude in or near Iran.

Re: innate ability of pattern recognition: Off topic, but not really. I'd never realized it until the mid '80s when I had a Mac2, preloaded with a Slots game. I played it for 2-4 hrs a day for months. I learned the algorithm, learned how to trick it and how to manipulate it. While playing slots at casinos I realized that they all use the same algorithm. Subsequently, I've been observed by (and spoken with) house security. I win. A lot. It's usually $thousands after several hits of $hundreds. Once one of the security detail told me "The machines aren't supposed to do that." Usually I just wander around for a bit then leave because they WILL blacklist you. I asked one once (very innocently lol)... what if the player has that ability (on supposedly infallible machines) but doesn't know it? The answer was yep, blacklisted. Oh noes!!! kthxbai lol/quiet but quick exit.

For instance, models built around a "Pancake" (see Map Legend) style of Geiger-Mueller tube typically have about a 3 times count rate over Standard tubed models, so their readings in CPM would be expected to average about 3 times higher, anyway.



How the Map Works:

A growing number of Radiation Monitoring Stations across the country (and world), using various models of Geiger Counters, upload their Radiation Count data in real time to their computer using a Data Cable, and then over the Internet to this web site, all of this accomplished through GeigerGraph for Networks software. This system is completely automated - there is no manual posting of data required.

How to Read the Map:

Referring to the Map Legend at the bottom left corner of the map, locate Monitoring Stations around the country that are contributing radiation data to this map as you read this, and watch the numbers on those monitoring stations update as frequently as every minute (your browser will automatically refresh). The numbers represent radiation Counts per Minute, abbreviated CPM, and under normal conditions, quantify the level of background radiation, i.e. environmental radiation from outer space as well as from the earth's crust and air. Depending on your location, your elevation or altitude, and your model of Geiger counter, this background radiation level might average anywhere from 5 to 60 CPM, and while background radiation levels are random, it would be unusual for those levels to exceed 100 CPM, or 2.5 times a Station's baseline readings. Thus, the "Alert Level" for the National Radiation Map is the lesser of 100 CPM or 2.5 times normal, so if you see any Monitoring Stations with CPM value above 100, and/or further indicated by an Alert symbol over those stations, it probably means that some radioactive source above and beyond background radiation is responsible.

Notice the Time and Date Stamp at the bottom center of the Map, your indication of how recently the Radiation Levels have been updated to the Map.

Damage estimates for Tel Aviv are 500 billion dollars( so far)
