If you look at the video coming out of Qatar, these Iranian missiles are being intercepted easily it seems. Looks like Iran is shooting only their older stuff which the Patriots can in fact handle. By doing this Iran is just sending a message perhaps. If they were very, very serious they'd launch newer Fatah 3 missiles which cannot be intercepted and hypersonic stuff which definately cannot be stopped.

Iran made a weak and performative attack that they announced well in advance. They get to claim that they got the last word and now will go back to striking impotently against Israel until Israel gets bored of looking for third tier targets to bomb.
