Hey man - just checking on you after the storms yesterday. I have family in SW MS, all are fine, but there were tornados all around them with damage in nearby towns and part of I-55 closed for a bit due to downed trees and debris. I hope you fared well.
Hey! I'm not Brutus but I am in SE MS. Lots of tree limbs down here but I haven't heard of a nearby tornado yet. Coulda been one though. We had some small hail and lots of wind but we ok here.

Yes I caught that post, also. Sounds like an extreme right wing dude.

Hey, thanks for asking.
We're fine here in my town (Brookhaven), but southeast of here at Tylertown they got smacked really, really hard. Right here locally we just had a lot of rain and gusty wind and sat through a couple of tornado warnings around mid-day Saturday.
Glad both sunny225 and Brutus made it through ok. Some of the surrounding areas suffered a lot of damage. I heard one went from Kentwood, LA all the way up to Tylertown, MS with a second one touching down in Tylertown shortly after.
@sunny225, I thought you may be from BR based on the "225".

Yeah, I'm about 44-45 miles due north of Kentwood and about 36-37 miles northwest of Tylertown. It got rather "sporty" around here at the height of the storms, but no significant damage except in widely isolated cases, like maybe a tree that was already about to go anyway got finished off during the storm and clipped a house or out-building.
One guy in T'town that I saw interviewed on Fox Weather is a chicken farmer down that way and the first one blew away his farm and home, and then he came out to see the second about 15 minutes later about half a mile away following roughly the same track as the first.
Nah, I'm from southeast MS. I am about 35 miles due north of Pascagoula in a small town called Lucedale. I live too close to Mobile AL, which is about 35 miles from me.
