The fires are miles away from my shack in the South Bay of the Los Angeles area.

FYI--a few hours ago residents caught a guy who was lighting fires out in the Calabasis area. A new fire broke out there this afternoon. They guy looks like some wet-back from south of the border and not a French Carmelite nun FYI.

They are saying now that 9000 structures have been burned down total from all the fires. There are now 5 major fires raging--but the Palisades and Altadena fire are the worst of them.

The Palisades fire burned down to the ocean. And in stretches along Pacific Coast Highway, there is nothing but devastation. A starter home in the Palisades will run you 4 to 5 million dollars--if you can find onw that is. And when they do, it's usually torn down and replaced with something more elaborate. Many homes up there were in the 50 to 90 million dollar range.

The Palisades Village along Sunset Boulevard has been completely wiped out. All the business are gone. Pali high school burned to the ground. Bank of America building zotzed.

My theory is that some illegal working at one of the homes in the Palisades was camping out in the brush up in the hillsides--and they lit a fire to cook or keep warm and it got out of hand. Or--the fire was deliberately set.

If you drive down Pacific Coast Highway in the mornings and late afternoons, you will see the illegals lined up at the bus stops going to, or coming back from their day-jobs with the rich in Malibu. This is a common sight. Many of them do not have a roof to sleep under, so they camp out in the bush, or if they are lucky, share a house where they are stacked up like pigs 20 or 30 to an apartment or home.


Hollywood Hills Sign fire seems to be arson. There's video of some homeless setting fires along Pico Boulevard in Santa Monica last night. Hollywood Boulevard was evacuated last night due to the fire above in the hills.

Conservative actor James Woods lost his home as well as Adam Corrolla.

News coverage out here is 24/7 and you see the elected fuk-nuts in front of the cameras trying to splain' away everything... especially Governor New-scum and that fool recently elected as LA Mayor Karen Bass (IQ of 75). She was in Ghana of all places on a tax payer funded trip for some reason when the fires broke out. Didn't get back until the second day in the afternoon.

Fire hydrants ran dry up in the Palisades--no water. No water pressure. Reservoir tanks were not filled beforehand. Smoke covered all of LA the first night and into yesterday. Ash is still raining down.

Two phone warnings went out this afternoon advising everyone in Los Angeles country to evacuate--by mistake.

Because the ignition spots were perfectly placed in spot where maximum spread would be ensured. Also it suggests that there was pre-planning, as in a fire study done beforehand as to just where and just when to start a fire.

Just woke up and am watching TV--the Palisades fire is still raging massively, spreading out deeper into the hills somewhere that I can't exactly pinpoint just yet.

I've never seen such a fire in So-Cal before so late and deep into the winter. it's unusual that there has been no rain as of yet.

Just heard on the TV that the shit-skinned MO-MO they arrested last night is being held on Parole violations. It's as usual with the elected zipper heads parading in front of the cameras pretending to be doing something important.

If people wonder just why folks live in California, especially in So-Cal... take a look at how people are walking around right now outside. They in short-sleeve shirts. The temp is in the 70's in the middle of winter, while the rest of the country is shivering, waist deep in snow and sleet. My heating bill in the winter months here are just an extra 30 dollars per month at the most. We have Mediterranean weather here.

It's about 25 degrees here in Michigan. My two Yorkies love it when it snows...me? Not so much.

Large sections wiped out completely. Everything burned down to the high-tide line. Certainly everything south of Topanga Canyon to Santa Monica city. Don't know how far it spread north from Topanga as of yet. Fire is still spreading. Winds are going to pick up again this weekend.

Parts condisered 'Malibu' are in Santa Monica city. Then as you go north, there's the city of Malibu itself--and the city center is at Las Vergines road near Pepperdine University. Don't know if its gone that far north yet.

I just saw some footage on Fox. Recognized the stretch of coastline--completely wiped out FYI. it is definitely gone north of Topanga Canyon to a stretch just south of Point Dume/Pepperdine and Las Vergines Road it seems. Homes directly on the beach are now smoking ruins. And none of these places go for less than several million dollars FYI.

The Will Rodgers state park was wiped out--along with his historic home and all of its furnishings and outrider buildings.
