sunny225Creatinine Levels
I saw mention of creatinine levels in another thread here. What should they be? When I had blood drawn recently, it showed that my creatinine was low.
Anyone know anything about this stuff? What does it mean? And how do I get it higher?

WebsterHigh creatinine is a good indicator of kidney disease. It reflects muscle breakdown so tends to be higher in males than females. Haven't had to deal with low creatinine. But check for indications of what an optimal level really is. Too many labs reflect normalization of pathology (like the 95% curve) and aren't a very good barometer.

You don't want HIGH levels. Its not a good indication that your kidneys are functioning right.
https://www.emedicinehealth.co...tests/article_em.htmThe person you read about here in another thread is a massively morbidly obese diabetic who does not take care of themselves (self-destructive actions) and who is more than likely not drinking enough water, does not move unless absolutely has to and is a miserable person to begin with.
