Well if the USA does this--then Iran is going to fucking burn it all down. And they have the means to do so. They will go after the water desalination plants, oil infrastructure--everything. They just started using their most high-tech missiles. And instead of quantity, it's precision quality now. Especially these cluster rockets--which they have been disbursing the bomblets at a high altitude, causing these bomblets to spread over a wide area. I'm thinking they can control the altitude of these disbursals and can activate them at lower altitudes for tighter bomblet patterns--to destroy an entire air base or harbor or city center. If the Marines go into Karg Island--look for these weapons to be used against them there.

JimmyB.Trump tried bullying an adversary who didn’t back down. Now unfortunately he has us backed into a corner..Threats and missiles won’t end this..He best use the negotiation skills that ended the Russia and Ukraine war overnight !
I find it hard to believe that so many can have the facts in front of them about this man and choose to ignore them.
I thought Democrats were dense but these guys take the cake.

There would be if we needed a lot more of it though. It would be a big change and would raise the price of production substantially. Production under natural fertilizers is much lower than under synthetics. It requires more preparation time and is more weather sensitive. It also introduces more weed seed, which then increases herbicide applications and messes up low/no till fields, which rely heavily on low weed seed burden. Big farms have equipment to spread pelletized or liquefied fertilizers, but only small producers are likely to still have a manure spreader hanging around. I think it is a lot more likely that farms will simply pay whatever they have to for synthetics and pass on the cost. Going back to pre-green revolution tech will work on a 5 acre farmette (albeit with a lot more labor), but it is out of the question where farms are measured in full sections. Of course, if the promised AI related layoffs come, we might find work for people to chop turds with hoes in exchange for potatoes.
