Stephen Paddock's father was on FBI's 10 most wanted list

Patrick Benjamin Paddock was a violent bank robber in the 1960s and 1970s

An FBI poster that is available online says that the Las Vegas killer's father “diagnosed as psychopathic, has carried firearms in commission of bank robberies” and “reportedly has suicidal tendencies and should be considered armed and very dangerous.”

Everybody wants to find the meaning, but there might not be any. This guy has the look of a sociopathic cipher at first glance. Maybe he has been holding a grudge for all these years over his father's arrest, maybe he lost a bunch of money gambling, or maybe he just thought it would be fun to watch a bunch of people die.

WHAT GUNS WERE USED IN LAS VEGAS SHOOTING?

This part is bullshit. The rest is okay:

That's literal BULLSHIT. That was no AR15 with a bumpfire stock, that was a full on belt fed heavy machine gun, and anyone who has remotely been around a big one can clearly differentiate the cyclic rate and sound of a large caliber weapon.

BULLSHIT.

It could have been a moded ak with a ninety round drum. But the rate of fire was too regular to have been a bumpfire.

I don't know... I've never used one of these bump fire stocks, but it certainly looks like you can get very similar performance to a true auto if you know what you're doing:

https://vimeo.com/80518325

The firing rate sounds about the same as in the attack video too.

That said, they haven't said yet that he didn't also have a full auto, just that they found rifles equipped with bump stocks.

It takes months of practice to get a sustained rate of fire, especially for the whole drum which is getting lighter with each shot and changing the balance of the rifle.
